Overdue

So far this week has proved challenging for me to stay on track. I had a nice write up on thriftyboutique and today the write up in Accessories Magazine came out too. I have orders that need to be shipped next week and new items waiting to be made. It is all a big balancing act. I am also dealing with new ways for shipping since I have had one issue or another with UPS. They have the worst customer service possible.

Spots and Polka Dots

Here is a look at Polka Dot.

Dezi has made purses for a long time. Now she is running her own store with fun gift items and of course her darling purses. Thanks to Dezi for hosting me on her Wedding Wednesday night. Girls if you are looking for a place to find wedding gifts and to talk to someone who has a passion for wedding ideas definitely check out Polka Dot! Dezi is a doll.

I am working on filling orders and ideas to make my business more efficient. I also have had to turn bad news into new opportunities. My representative in Atlanta has decided to leave the business. She did an amazing job over the holidays and I will truly miss her. I hope she finds what she is looking for in the world. Situations change and although things may not seem like the best, a new door always opens in someway.

I sometimes feel like my lack of a business education is to my advantage as I have no preconceived notions about how to do business. Then there are the times that I know if I had a business education I wouldn't have to figure so many things out from square one. Whatever way I get there, I always seem to get there.

So guess what? I will now have to make those wonderful follow up calls I shy away from. And it's a new opportunity for learning part of my business better. Along with the departure of one representative I now have a new representative in LA. Everyday is a new journey.
